INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing and trusting me to create with you on something so special, unique, and important to the way your business is perceived, understood, and favored: your brand & website.
Before we begin, let's talk about laying the groundwork upon which we'll build our collaboration. Whether we're building a brand from scratch or revamping an old one, a project of this scale can feel overwhelming. No need for you to worry—we're here to work together, one step at a time.
This welcome kit is meant to answer most of the questions you must be asking right now. We'll briefly present important aspects, such as our design process, feedback mechanism, and tools we'll be using to keep in touch.
Of course, if there's any more concerns or clarifications you'd like to raise, feel free to discuss them with me as well.

THE PROCESS
Branding
Crafting an intentional and meaningful brand takes time, so we divide our process into 4 simple phases. This way, you'll know what to expect without getting too intimidated by the details.

First I will send a Brand Exploration form for you to fill out. After you sign your contract + pay your deposit, we'll send over a link for you to schedule a 1 hour Zoom call where we will go over the form. During this call, we'll talk about your vision for your business and all of the things that we need to accomplish through our project. From defining your target audience and establishing the values that you share to analyzing your unique place in your industry – we'll cover it all!

In this presentation, we'll outline your brand vision and values, ways to deeply connect with your kin and stand out from your competition. Then we'll gather visual inspiration that aligns with those goals and let that guide us through the design process. Basically, this step helps us make sure we're on the same page before we start exploring logo ideas and that there is in-depth strategy behind everything that we create.

I’ll present some strong concepts for the logo, highlighting different aspects of your business. From here, we'll narrow it down to the concept that feels right + would connect the most with your audience.
We’ll then present refined versions of the concepts that we chose and dive deeper to explore color and typography. This is where we'll really try to envision how each concept would work in real life + figure out which one feels the strongest. If we still need to make refinements, we can. Otherwise, we'll select the final direction to move forward with.

Finally, we'll put everything together in a detailed guide on how to use your brand consistently, intuitively, and strategically. We'll also create any collateral pieces that you have chosen to include in your project.

Website
Building a website is no easy task, so we divide our process into three simple phases. This way, you'll know what to expect without getting too intimidated by the details.

Before jumping into designing your website, I want to take everything that I’ve learned about your specific needs and make sure that we’re both on the same page with the visual direction and website goals By focusing on these things first, we’re able to keep your goals in focus while we develop a strategy for your new website. We’ll go over the following things: your website goals, your audience’s needs / goals, things to focus on / avoid, sitemap layout, and visual inspiration for key areas of your site.

Here's where we deep-dive into the creation process. I'll carefully craft your entire homepage based on our refined strategy. This page sets the tone for the rest of your website, which is why it's important for us to get every single element right.

After that, it's time to build out and test webpages in Squarespace. With your prompt feedback, I'll be able to create a stunning website that you and your kin will love.
The handoff won't be just a matter of transferring the site itself to your Squarespace account—I'll be leaving you with personalized tutorials so you can manage and maintain the site yourself with ease.

For us to start collaborating right away, you'll need to make a deposit.
I'll be turning over the website to you at the end of the project, once you've paid the full amount. In case of payments not received, you will be charged a $100 late fee per week.
